Beverly L. Olsen

Founder & President

Beverly has been building and serving the Greater Hampton Roads area since 2003. She is a New England native who relocated, with her family, to Virginia in 2002. Beverly holds degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. After working as a manager with IBM in Research and Development, she left the corporate climate to start her own business, Olsen Construction and Engineering.

Since 2003, when Beverly created Olsen Fine Homebuilding in Virginia, she has developed long-term relationships with suppliers and subcontractors in the area. These relationships make up a treasure trove a highly-skilled people whose combined expertise will make your home a masterpiece. 

Beverly’s work is well known in Hampton Roads. Her reputation as one of Virginia's premier luxury home builders is widely recognized. She has constructed custom homes throughout the Peninsula and in all of Williamsburg's premiere planned communities. 

Simon Watrous

Director of Operations

Simon Watrous is the luckiest husband of an incredible wife, Madeline, and the blessed father of Addison and Cameron Watrous. Simon and Madeline have been here locally since graduating JMU and UNC Chapel Hill respectively. They also have two golden doodles, Brinkley & Caley, who loves people, toys, and their brothers.

Growing up in Williamsburg has given Simon a distinct understanding of the area's unique architecture and housing market. Simon considers the blending of tangible products & materials with the creative vision of each client an art. This drives Simon's attention to detail and his commitment to the best results at each segment of the building process. 

Simon has been with Olsen Fine Homebuilding since graduating from James Madison University in December 2016. Olsen Fine Homebuilding will transition ownership to Simon and Madeline in the intervening year or so as Beverly takes an emeritus/consulting role.
